Kim So Hyun is Surprised Seeing Audience’s Reaction Toward Her Kiss Scene with Yoo Seung Ho
Actress Kim So Hyun admitted to have been surprised seeing audience’s response regarding her kiss scene with Yoo Seung Ho in their drama, ‘Ruler: Master of the Mask’.
Kim So Hyun said, “When I saw it on TV, it looks pretty beautiful. On the set, it felt more like a light kiss and seemed to look better. I was worried about how people would respond to that, but it turned out that the audience likes it.”
“Actually, in ‘Let’s Fight Ghost’ there were also kiss scenes. Taecyeon jokingly said to me ‘Because of you, I’m berated’. I felt quite guilty at that time. Fortunately, this time, it’s different. I think it’s because my age fits Seungho oppa better than Taecyeon oppa. Thus the result looks more beautiful than I expected. when I was filming the kiss scene on the set, I tried not to be careless, but I was also afraid that it would make us more awkward. ‘Ruler’ is a quite heavy drama, but when I was filming that scene, everyone on the set liked it, so it improved my mood.”
During the promotion period for ‘Pure Love’ back in 2015, Kim So Hyun once said, “I’ve never experienced first love. I’ve still not experienced what it feels like to fall in love, so it’s a little hard to portray. I try to imitate based on what I’ve seen and based on my own imagination, but I think there will be a profound difference.”
The ex-child actress also said, “I want to date, but when I meet someone, the feeling has never appeared yet.” With a smile, she continued, “Of course, I think I should try having the ‘first love’ experience so I could improve my acting.”
In ‘Ruler’, Kim So Hyun had a love line with both of her co-stars, Yoo Seung Ho and L, and her romantic scenes with them were considered satisfactory. To this, Kim So Hyun said, “I’m thankful that so many people liked it. At first I was deeply concerned, but since the audience seemed to like it, I feel thankful.”
