On January 26, the production team of “My Sassy Girl” revealed that the drama was first planned to have 20 episodes, but it was reduced to 16 episodes. The decision was made to improve the quality of the drama.

The drama itself would be divided into four parts to grab the public’s attention. The filming has reached its last stage and it is predicted to end in February. The filming would not be done in the new year, so Joo Won, Oh Yeon Seo, Lee Jeong Sin, Kim Yoon Hye, and the other casts would be able to enjoy a short break.

“My Sassy Girl” is a historical drama that tells the love story of a Joseon man and the conflicts within the regime that he needs to face. This drama will start airing in May and will replace SBS’ previous drama, “Defendant”.
